Greek style coffee is stone ground into a fine powder, perfect for making demitasse coffee in the tradition of the Greeks.
Brewing instructions for a great cup of authentic Greek Coffee:
- Measure one demitasse cup of cold water for each cup desired and pour into “briki” (small coffee pot).
- Heat until luke warm.
- Add one heaping teaspoon of coffee and sugar (optional) for each cup and stir. (Adjust amounts to suite your tastes.)
- Bring to boil over low flame, until foam is formed.
- Pour coffee into demitasse cups. If more than one cup, divide foam into each cup and then fill cups to brim.
